roads

I had a dream that 50 years from now I found something I had lost on a road, 50 years before. I woke up quite amazed. I had indeed in real life once lost something on a road, only the road in my dream was a road I had never been on before.

Here is a picture I took of a road in Peru. Coloured it in a bit of course.

night time revelry

No parties tonight, in the heat of this night maybe a fight, but right, you'd rather read about celebrity misdemeanours or eco warrior wearing green's, venting spleens on tabloids or screens, purveyors of all things, with meaning silently creeping through our psyches back alley ways, just listen to what he or she says; my friend. There is little point, so expand, if the point is to become whatever multi-faceted polyhedron you fancy. Don't you know they are on sale?

read about it in the newspapers

PR or public relations, not Page Rank that's something else, but not entirely different, depending how you view such a thing, is something you hear all about all the time it seems. It's connected with marketing and advertising and wholly part of our free market consumerist culture, love it or hate it, it's as much to do with a brightly coloured label for a tin of beans as it is with latent human desires stretching back to our first primitive wanderings upon this planet. "I want you" he or she whispers to him or her on this or that occasion. "I know you do," I analysed your consumer wants through an independent market analysis company. "Oh."

What is the theme?  I found a random link and page about case studies relating to a London PR companies involvement with a client.

" extensive refurbishment, the agency introduced the world to the new Ronnie Scott's (event space, restaurant and bar) "

immortality

Immortality is a cat
a big cat with a funny flat hat
why the cat wear a hat?
no time for that
just to make each day
more interesting

inching towards obscurity

Attended a meeting of famously infamous crowd fillers on Tuesday. Splendid bash, absolutely nobody was there.

funny or not?

Is this funny, or silly, or offensive or dull or tedious? I do not know. I found it here http://www.design2d.co.uk/daily_object/december_2093/2.htm with a whole series more. I spent 2 days wondering what made people laugh, in which time I laughed, giggled, wept, was angry, bored etc as well of course. I wondered whether there were general or universally funny things or simply a gamut of 'personal' albeit limited to possibly a nation, 'funny things.' Is it dictated by language? No, because mime can be very funny. It is picture oriented though. This collage/montage refers to a brand name and also to some peoples preoccupation with dressing up their pet dogs. I guess it maybe rate 5/10 on a laughter scale. Maybe.

cold grey day

Today the cold is grey, today the day is grey, today the grey is way too grey, not too good a day today.
