We travelled with www.holidayintobago.com who I highly recommend not only for providing a fantastic and affordable birdwatching holiday (thanks Glyn) but for the care and service we received on top. Our first week on Tobago involved trips with Newton George a (superb guide and truly wonderful guy), visiting Little Tobago island bird sanctuary, Gilpin Trace trail in the rainforest, adventure farm, Grafton reserve, Bonaccord sewage ponds and Bonaccord wetlands, Hilton lakes and sewage works.

On the island of Trinidad we stayed at the absolutely amazing Asa Wright Centre http://www.asawright.org/ . A charity protecting exquisite rain forest they need support and donations to educate as well as buy land in the face of threats from hunting and deforestation. As well as exploring the trails there we visited the Trincity sewage ponds and the Caroni swamp.
